CES' annual regional meetings were held across the state September 13-28. More than 100 representatives of 64 member educational institutions attended the nine meetings. This year's meetings were different than past years with the added focus on athletic vendors and their products and services. Athletic presentations were made by Atlas Tracks and Tennis, Lone Mountain Contracting, and Robert Cohen Company. Materials from General Acrylics, Norcon of New Mexico, Samson Weight Training Equipment, School Equipment, Benchmark Wood Floors, The McClain Company, Team Athletic, Landscape Structures, and Playsafe were also distributed to attendees. In addition to athletic vendors, the regional meetings also provided a forum to discuss CES' administrative manual, executive committee, finances, district credits, and the latest blue book. Programs such as New Mexico REAP, Medicaid billing, supplementary benefits, energy and security savings, online school and office products, visual thesaurus, and AEPA were discussed. CES also announced its top ten vendors from 2003-04, who will all be honored on October 18 as part of our Million Dollar Club. |
